Just back from a fantastic weeks holiday at Casa Benedict. We stayed in the one bedroomed garden apartment. What a lovely bright, roomy and airy apartment. Spent our mornings and late afternoon in the pool. Evenings were spent on the terace, drinking red wine and listening to the frog chorus.
Couldnt wish for a more pleasant holiday.

Hello,
We spend a beautiful time in Turre in the casa Benedict.
We will surely recommend this place by our friends.
There are a few points we will remark.
In the kitchen, we have not enough pans large enough with a cover.
In the bedroom, it was easier when we have some shelfs in the wardrobe and some hatrack.
All the other things we were satisfied.

Séjour fin février. Très agréable, propriété bien entretenue et appartement confortable dans un environnement calme.
Accès facile à la côte, au parc de Cabo de Gata et Sorbas pour de magnifiques randonnées.
Très proche aussi de Mojacar playa pour ceux qui aiment l'animation , et aussi pour s'approvisionner en nourriture variée.
Excellent lieu de séjour

we spend 2 very good weeks in villa turre;
the appartement was very confortable, quiet, with lot of space.outside, the garden is very nice, the swimming pool warm and clear, the barbecue helps you to appreciate fish!! the 2 dogs are very kind in particular with children...
Ian and Jane are particularly kind and homely. they can give you good advise about everthing you need (visits, food, restaurant,specialities...)
villa turre has got a good situation: lovely calas, splendid landscape, typicals villages

What can we say about Casa Benedict, nothing but good and kind words. Nothing is too much trouble for Ian or Jan and the quality of their accommodation is second to none. Added to this there are two beautiful dogs called Tara and Maisie, who are not shy about introducing themselves but so laid back. We began to look forward to seeing them each day we were there. We will, hopefully, be staying again, nothing else will do from now on. Dont take our word for it, book a flight and go and see for yourselves.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans la Casa Alicia. Ian et sa femme sont des personnes charmantes, qui nous ont accueillis très chaleureusement et qui restent à l'écoute de nos besoins. La maison est spacieuse, propre et décorée avce goût. La maison est au calme mais très proche des villes voisines et des plages où l'eau est très chaude. Nous avons également profité un maximum de la piscine avec nos enfants, très agréable aussi, le petit bassin pour les petits est un plus non négligeable pour les enfants en bas âge. Quoi dire de plus sinon que nous avons passé un très bon séjour et que nous ne manquerons pas de vous conseillé. Merci encore pour votre gentillesse.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 3 semaines dans la casa Benedict,l'accueil de Jan et Ian a été très chaleureux et amical.Ce sont des personnes très disponibles,discrètes,
très généreuses et d'une grande gentillesse.Tara et Macy sont des chiennes vraiment adorables et agréables.Nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis à l'aise et très émerveillés par la villa,les jardins et la piscine.Tout est magnifique et très bien entretenu.C'est la plus belle location que nous ayons eu jusqu'à maintenant et nous nous ferons un plaisir d'y retourner.

Yet another brill time at this most peaceful place.
As I always say wot a great time we had again!!
14 of us this time and Ian and Jan shined,They could not do enough (as per normal)
This was the 1st time for some and they could not believe how quiet it is here but not 2 far away from the fun if you want it.
We just hope people try Casa Benedict and keep a wonderful couple in a wonderful part of true spain.
This is our 8th and hopefully not our last time!

Thanks Ian & Jan for a really lovely holiday, just what we needed! The apartment was brilliant, nice and roomy with permanent hot water on tap, what a bonus! Everywhere was kept so clean - the pool, apartment, parking area, gardens. Casa Benedict is situated perfectly for beach, scenery, touring but still remains very peaceful. We would love to come back and are already thinking about dates! Will recommend you to all our friends.

This is approx our 8th time at casa benedict with Jan and Ian.
We are now 3 weeks away from another trip to that quiet & wonderful place.
Ian and Jan always make you feel so welcome and as if you are part of the family.(been that many times now we nearly are)

We had a very pleasant stay in the Villa Helena. Ian and Jan are a very friendly couple and their dogs are even friendlier!
The villa was all we hoped it would be, being February there were a few cold evenings but the heating was adequate to keep it quite comfortable.
The garden and grounds are beautfully kept and the pool looked very inviting but it was too early in the season to tempt us in.
We found plenty of surrounding countrside to explore and plenty of choice as regards restaurants and bars for eating out. A place we could definitely visit again.

Well what can I say about these people - where do I start? We have never had such hospitality, kindness and friendship. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the quality of their accommodation is second to none - not like the normal rental accommodation - this is very unique with a lot of little extras that make all the difference (especially to the female of our species). Added to this there are two beautiful dogs called Tara and Macey who have made our 3 months staying here more like a home from home but with the added bonus of sunny weather. We will be staying for another few months (if Ian and Jan will have us) as we are waiting for our own property to be completed in Arboleas. Dont take our word for it come and see for yourselves!!!!

I recently enjoyed a really relaxing week at Casa Benedict with my family. The villa was in a lovely location and very comfortable, while being in a very peaceful location it was within easy reach of a number of excellent restaurants in Turre and Mojacar (Playa and Pueblo). We would all like to thank Ian for the advice he gave on places to eat and places of interest to visit and his directions to their locations, having someone with local knowledge is really helpful, especially on a short stay. I doubt anyone will stay at Casa Benedict and not mention Macey and Tara, they were really friendly and made our stay more memorable.

If you're browsing through the guestbook, pondering on whether to go with Villa Turre, all I can say is "what are you waiting for....go for it". Villa Turre and the surrounding area was faultless. The two bedroom apartment was beautiful and the gardens a delight. I felt at one with nature. As a woman travelling alone with my daughter, we felt safe and secure. Jan and Ian are the perfect hosts. I have no doubt about returning there at a later date and have been recommending it to many. many thanks for one of the most relaxing holidays I've had in a long time!

We have just returned from these fantastic villas today and i had to just let everyone know what a great week we had with all my family we rented all four acomadations and it was just perfect for us to have a large family gathering without being on top of each other. Ian & Jan were absolutley fantastic couldn't do enough for us. We highly recomend this complex we had age ranges from 68 to 2 including a couple of teenagers !!!!

We have just got back from a weeks holiday at Casa Benedict and one week was not enough. These villas are fantastic, spacious, clean and secure. The pool is great and we only had to share the pool with a few people, so my son spent most of his holiday in the water. I would definitely return in the future as this has been the most relaxing holiday I have ever had and have already recommended this accomodation and area to my friends. The surrounding towns were very good too, especially Mojocar Pueblo which has amazing restaurants and views of the area. I was slightly worried about Macy and Tara (the 2 dogs) being a problem for my son as he is quite fearful of dogs and I am not a dog lover myself, but within half an hour he loved them both and they were no problem at all (no jumping, licking, slavering or harrasing) very well behaved.

Spacious, well furnished villa, next to a pool surrounded by beautiful Spanish scenery and the coast is only a 5 minute drive. It is as good as it looks in the virtual tours.
Your hosts are on hand to provide advice on the best places to visit and where to sample the local food and drink.

Nous avons passé deux excellentes semaines de vacances à la Casa Benedict (villa superbe) dans un appartement spacieux et agréable avec une terrasse donnant sur le jardin et le bassin, le tout dans un environnement calme .
Les garçons ont beaucoup apprécié la piscine, les jeux avec les autres enfants et bien sûr Tara et Macy, les deux chiens , très gentils et affectueux.
La région d'Almeria offre des possibilités nombreuses et variées de découvertes (parc naturel; désert; architecture; sports...et baignade en mer bien sûr) et le climat de Mojacar est parfaitement supportable pour un européen du Nord (30/31° lors de notre séjour au mois d'août) !
Ian et Jan sont des hôtes très accueillants et disponibles, et toujours bienveillants malgré notre anglais très défaillant.
Encore merci à eux deux pour ces vacances très réussies .

I would just like to take this opportunity to say that me and all the family had a fantastic time at your villa, the facilities like the pool and the rooms were very nice. it was just what we all wanted a nice quite break away from all the city life, I recomend that if anyone wants a quite week or two, then your villa is the one. The dogs were not a problem at all in fact we forgot they were there.
I will definetly be coming back maybe same time next year.....

We had a 4 day stay at Casa Benedict with our 10 year old son & 21 month old twins & we were immediately made to feel very welcome.
Richard unfortunately had a car accident, during our stay & Ian was great, making sure we were ok & letting us know we only need ask if we needed anything.....it meant a lot at a stressful time to have some backup support.
The villa is in a stunning spot & the grounds are beautiful & vast.....the girls loved playing in them.......and the dogs!!!

Highly recommended, Clean and tidy nothing was too much trouble, quiet location but close to most facilities.
Two lovely dogs even if your not a dog lover you won’t have a problems, they are very friendly towards children.
If you need a holiday retreat this is the one!

Had two lovely weeks in october - a perfect time to come if one has the chance. Quiet, but still "summer" at least to us northerners. The hosts have the ability to be there when you need them and pretty invisible at other times, giving the impression of owning your own villa in the sun - without any work tasks to do! Location is great, near beaches but quiet and rural. The pool was a winner as was Tara, the most "cosy" and well-behaved dog this side of.... We also enjoyed watching the stars, the mountains and the moon from the roof terrace. Nearby Mojacar Pueblo is a truly wonderful place to just stroll around (maybe not so in high season, but...) and Garrucha is a real spanish, relaxed, no-frills resort with a great promenade and excellent, large beaches. We would surely like to come back, and, I will also do more bathing if you get the water heater up and working, Ian!

Now the dreary English weather has arrived and the hours of darkness are longer than daylight, we think back to the two glorious weeks spent at Casa Benedict last summer. It satisfied the needs of a fairly fussy family of four, including two teenagers, and we all look back on the holiday as being one which we really enjoyed.
The villa was perfect. The living room was spacious with plenty of storage so there was no need to have books, magazines and other possessions lying around in bags on the floor. The sofas were really comfy, not those ghastly things often found in holiday accommodation which have hard wooden arms and are so low that getting up is a major effort. The bedrooms were a really good size with loads of wardrobe space so all the clothes could be put away and the suitcases too, so you don’t find yourself having to negotiate an obstacle course in the middle of the night. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with plenty of work space so you could prepare a meal for the family without having to do a balancing act with the plates.
Outside the gardens were beautiful and the pool area was a dream – no need to get up at the crack of dawn to bag a sunbed – there’s enough for everyone. The water was oh so warm and inviting thanks to Ian’s devotion to its maintenance and of course, its only a few paces from the front door. Plenty of car parking too right next to the villa. Finally, the icing on the cake are Macey and Tara, in-house rent-a pets, who were just adorable, great company and jolly good at guarding too.
All in all Casa Benedict is just like having your own home in the sun without the hassle – what more could you ask for.

Since October 2004 we have stayed with famliy and friends over a period of four visits at Casa Benidict, last being October 2oo5. We have always felt welcomed and relaxed with our hosts and enyoyed our stays. Of course we will be back in 2006

Thank you Ian and Jan for a superb week. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The pool was close at hand, plenty of sun beds, superb views of the mountains, close to Mojacar and within easy reach of the motorway. An ideal location.

Great location with great views over the mountains, close enough to the coast but far enough from the coastal development sprawl. Easy access to the coast and the main motorway.
Very comfortable accommodation with safe childrens' pool and attached larger pool plus the added attraction of playground and two child frienfly dogs on site. Very helpful owners also resident on site, for which nothing is too much trouble
Good value too!

Many thanks for a wonderful holiday. The accomodation is of a very high standard in a beautiful and quite location, without being too remote. Tremendous hosts, for whom nothing is too much trouble. Alarm clock and hoover included by way of a very sociable and lovable pair of dogs, Tara and Macey. There is little doubt that we will be back and will willingly recommend Casa Benedict to others.

Very impressed with the standards; the service; the location & the on-site owners. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt our stay at this Villa was appreciated by all concerned.
